Hey Y'all!

Welcome to The Potter's Hand Photography! I'm Alishia, and I'm so glad to have you here with me today! I'm married to a wonderful man who serves our country and I'm a mom to three amazing kids. Obviously, I'm a photographer, which is probably why you're here. It is my hope that you will learn a little bit more about me and my passion for photography as we think about how portraits impact your life. So, let's take a quiet moment to be together, just you and me, and think about photographs and what they mean to you. Wanna grab a cup of coffee? Go ahead, I'll wait.

Are you back? Wonderful! Let's get cozy and have a little chat. Take a moment to clear you mind and think back to a few photos that you just love. Photographs that evoke such happiness and contentment within you, that each time you pull them out, you reminisce and you're taken back to that moment.  Now, imagine sharing these images with your kids, maybe not now, but someday you'll say, “I remember when...”

I remember when... “I was so in love with your dad that there could be a million people in the room and I would only have eyes for him. I remember how he held my hand and softly touched my face before pulling me close and holding me tight. I've never felt safer than I have in his embrace.  I can't wait for you to find a love like ours one day.”

I remember when... “You were so small that you fit just right in my arms and you felt so fragile and new, with your tiny nose and baby toes. You would coo ever so softly when you were hungry and you would get so mad if you were left alone. You just wanted to be cuddled. That's okay, I like cuddling too.”

Then you hug your little one(s) closer as you think about just how much they're growing up.  Well, we can't stop the growing, but we can capture them today, just as they are, right now.

What will you remember through the portraits that capture your life story?
