James turns ONE!

Celebrating One Sweet Milestone

Earlier this month, I had the joy of photographing a milestone that’s always close to a mama’s heart — a first birthday for little James! 🎉 James celebrated turning one with the most adorable and simple cake smash, and I just couldn’t resist capturing all his giggles, curiosity, and messy-sweet smiles. When the cake was presented to him - he literally said, "Whoa!" 😂

While I don’t regularly offer sessions for little ones anymore (my focus these days is on seniors, young adults and families), this was a very special request from a dear friend. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing her family numerous times, and being invited to help celebrate this big “one” was truly an honor.

Here are just a few favorites from his session — the perfect reminder of how quickly our babies grow and how important it is to hold onto these fleeting moments. 💛
