Hi, I’m Alishia!
I’m the photographer behind The Potter’s Hand Photography, and I count it a true blessing to capture life’s most meaningful moments.
I’m married to my high school sweetheart, a retired Army pilot, and together we’ve raised three wonderful young adults. Our oldest son is married to his amazing wife, and we are proud grandparents to two beautiful toddlers — which means I know firsthand just how quickly those little years pass by.
Photography became a passion for me in 2006, shortly after the birth of our daughter, and it soon grew into a calling. By 2011, I officially launched my business, and over the years I’ve worked hard to refine my craft. In September 2025, I was honored to earn my Master of Photography Degree from the Professional Photographers of America.
I couldn’t have come this far without the unwavering support of my husband (who has prepared more than his share of “sandwich dinners” while I chased dreams) and our kids, who were often my muses and helpers in those early days. Most of all, I am thankful to God for the gift of creativity and the opportunity to wake up each day and do what I love.
Now that you know a little about me and my family, I’d love the chance to get to know yours. My greatest joy is creating timeless portraits that capture your story as it is right now — and transforming them into artwork that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
